Purpose

The Australian Breathwork Association (ABA) is the national professional association representing Breathwork practitioners and trainers in Australia.

ABA exists to establish, maintain and advance professional standards that support safe, ethical and competent Breathwork practice, in the interests of both the profession and the wider community.

ABA provides a recognised framework for practitioner and trainer certification, ongoing professional development, and professional accountability, supporting public confidence and informed choice.

ABA promotes collaboration, peer support and unity within the Breathwork profession, fostering a connected professional community committed to continual learning and best practice.

ABA also promotes community awareness and understanding of Breathwork, encourages research and professional development, and serves as a trusted point of reference for the public to identify certified trainers and practitioners through its member directory.
